Welcome to the D&H Home Services website. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use our website or request services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. By using our services, you confirm that all information you provide is true and accurate.

2. Services Offered

D&H Home Services offers handyman and home maintenance services to residential and light commercial customers. Services are offered based on availability and may vary by location. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time.

3. Estimates and Payments

  • All pricing is based on a per-job basis and reflects a minimum service charge of $115.

  • Estimates are valid for 14 days unless otherwise specified.

  • Payment is due in full upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods may include cash, check, credit/debit card, or electronic transfer.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee. Repeat no-shows or cancellations may result in refusal of future service.

5. Service Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. D&H Home Services offers a 30-day workmanship guarantee for completed services. This guarantee does not cover materials, wear and tear, misuse, or damage not caused by our work.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing safe and clear access to the work area

  • Securing pets or hazardous conditions

  • Notifying us of any special circumstances or hidden issues prior to service

Failure to do so may result in delays, additional charges, or service refusal.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and branding, is the property of D&H Home Services and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, D&H Home Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to decline or terminate services at our discretion, including but not limited to unsafe working conditions, harassment, or failure to comply with these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of the site or our services implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts of Douglas County, Kansas.
